Petronas to expand Euro 5 diesel availability to 18 stations by end October; 50 stations by year end

Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro5 011

Having introduced its Euro 5-grade diesel at six stations in the Klang Valley in August, Petronas has now announced that the Euro 5 Dynamic Diesel will be available at 18 Petronas stations across the nation by the end of the month. As of September this year, the fuel has already been available at 15 stations.

For now, Petronas Euro 5 Dynamic diesel is available at these stations:

  • Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang
  • Linkedua South-bound
  • NKVE Damansara
  • Technology Park Malaysia 1
  • KM0.7 Besraya north-bound (Solaris Serdang)
  • KM 305 Plus south-bound (Solaris Putra)
  • Federal Highway (KM 12.3)
  • Arah Klang, NKVE Klang-bound
  • USJ 20
  • Federal Highway FAS
  • Mutiara Damansara
  • Sprint Highway
  • Taman Melati
  • MRR2 Kepong-bound
  • Bentong R&R

Three more locations – Lingkaran Tengah 2 in Wilayah Persekutuan, Silk Highway in Selangor and Mambau in Negeri Sembilan will come online with Euro 5 diesel by mid-October.

Petronas will be extending is Euro 5 diesel reach to 50 stations by the end of the year, and will cover major highways connecting the Klang Valley in both directions, as well as select locations in the southern region to cater for vehicles entering Singapore, which has more stringent emissions regulations.

This is part of Petronas’ efforts towards the Malaysian government’s gazetted implementation of Euro 5 diesel across the nation by 2020.

Petronas’ progression isn’t limited to end user consumption of fossil fuels. The petroleum company has announced a partnership with the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech Malaysia), to deploy 66 ChargEV charging stations at Petronas stations throughout the Peninsular.

Typical lazy GLC company. Instead of taking a lead (to change all diesel to Euro5 for the environmental and health reason), still sticking to toxic diesel and making hoo-haa expanding EU5 to more stations for cheap marketing.
