The new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has made its launch debut in Malaysia, offering increased levels of performance thanks to a host of new technologies.
For starters, the Grip Booster Technology delivers improved grip handling, thanks to a new compound and adhesive resin. There’s also Active Braking Technology that increases the contact surface and grip when braking, allowing for shorter braking distances.
Additionally, the tyre features a reinforced construction that delivers improved handling, cornering performance, tread wear and fuel efficiency.
According to the TUV Sud Benchmark Test, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has a shorter braking distance of up to 2.6 meters on wet roads and 1.3 meters on dry roads compared to average performance of 3 leading competitors.
The same test results also reveal a 10.9% better rolling resistance compared to the average of the three tested competitors, which represents the second best rolling resistance performance among other tyre brands. Tests by independent organisation DEKRA have shown that the new addition to the Eagle series offers up 11,500 km extra mileage (or +31% better wear performance) versus the average of three leading competitors.
For the Malaysian market, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is offered in 17- to 20-inch rim diameters, with up to 34 sizes available. Prices start from RM668 to RM1,820, depending on sizes.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
waste of money. Better buy Sime Tayar like Continental. 1000x better than Michelin or Pirelli
Define 1000x better? Price? Perf in dry? Perf in wet? Long lasting?
Durex is longer lasting than this tyre
Pls elaborate how durex suddenly comes into ur original comparison above.
Jaguh kampung. That is why he say even Proton better than BMw and Volvo.
Why bash ur own dupe?
Will it use more fuel if i use it on my Gen 2?
If u were using eco tyres, then yes. Cuz Eagle F1 is perf tyres, so it prioritises handling, grip, take off traction, and looking at the multiple water channels- rain dispersal as well.
Downside is exp, noisy and not lasting.
Sorry, don’t fit your Gen 2.
If 17-18 inch at 205-215? Yes it can fit.
Wow, look at all my dupes talking to each other. Wow…
If dun like it then dun clone me.
With GST, everything with a price tag goes up. haih…..
I could only afford China tyres unfortunately, even though F1 eagle is good….
After install Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 & tested for 2 months, I’m feeling disappointed of the tyre performance & I swift to Michelin Pilot SuperSport instead. This tyre is feel comfort but due to the side wall too soft, it isn’t feel good in handling. I have no idea why they name it as Eagle “F1”?
its not fair to compare eagle f1 asym with pilot super sport (pss). it should be compare instead to pilot sport 4 (ps4).
and yes, i am fully aware that f1 asym is overpriced compared to its michelin competitor .
Just for your information.
