They seems to be more interested to sell non relevant product / services such as fuel injectors cleaner service, oil additive etc. Our office car (Honda Accord) is less than 1 year old and have done only about 40 K km and the total service cost came to about MYR 1K….ridiculous.

I will warn all Honda owners before bringing your car for service: Print out the service recommendation according to your mileage from the official Honda website.
All the fuel injector cleaner/service and oil additive is not mandatory. Dealers all want to make extra money from you. Perform only the recommended options. Otherwise, be prepared to empty your wallets.
Yes, Honda is focusing on all those bit how good can it be? Honda was rated lowest in the last JD Power survey. Since all Honda outlets are owned by dealers, look at how owners are treated. The dealers have no passion in automotive business, they just want money. Next rating Honda must make sure it is in top 3.

My brand new CRV 1.5 TCP is defective and have strange noise at front end for a brand new car with under 100km mileage. Still after several visit to service centre the problem can’t be solved even after changing the front wheel bearing. Hate to hear from Honda mechanic state that a normal sound. This is the first time buying Honda and felt very annoying and disappointed. Still waiting the solution but with mileage counting until the warranty gone. I feel want to sell back the car. I feel very regret bought the car.

Could you remark that the 10,000km only apply to naturally aspirated engines.
the service interval for force induction engine was much less than that.
Every 5-7k for oil + filter change (SC warned filter does not last until B maintenance or >10k better change everytime when changing oil) and schedule maintenance is on separate time making you running in and out SC every 4-5k
So what’s the point of 10000km interval service if at the end of day you still go to SC every 5k?

The issue isn’t the Quality of After Sales Service. There is no doubt of Honda commitment to doing a good job.
The issue is the lack of After Sales (Service) Centres to cater to the huge increase in sales these past few years. Existing After Sales Centres are bursting at the seams catering to existing customers, despite working 7 days a week. They simply can’t cope with the demand.
Yes, Honda Malaysia has opened 1S purely dedicated After Sales (Service) Centres but this brilliant idea has yet to propagate in Klang Valley.
Imagine having to make an appointment at the very least 30 days before service date. That in itself shows the fully booked appointments at each After Sales Centres. Failure to meet the strict Terms & Conditions imposed on vehicle servicing will ensure voiding of 5 Years Warranty. In the event of Warranty Claims, the onus is on the car owner & not being able to get a service appointment isn’t an excuse Honda will entertain. Although the fault isn’t the car owner, Honda will not honour the Warranty claim. All because Honda After Sales Service Centres aren’t able to cope with the demand for servicing.
Proton’s service quality is top notch. It’s even better than Honda service

Over sell is what they do, interior rattle like mad after 2k km, honda civic turbo need to change oil and filter every 6~7k km, preventive schedule, A B maintenance minder is a joke.. causing me to go SC every 4-5k km

My HRV is less than a year old & 14000km only, and I’ve been going in and out of the service center so many times since I got it. I was told to leave my car in the service center for 3 days and the service centre dismantled almost everything inside just because of a noise coming from the boot area. What are the people in the manufacturing plant doing about this? Can you imagine how inconvenient it is without a car for 3 days? No courtesy car can be provided summore. No more Honda cars for me.

honda aftersales experience is a joke. complain on weekend they wont entertain you. complain on weekdays say have to leave car at sc 2-3 days. after done service they will say all the problem reported is normal. coolant always have to buy and topup even just after 1000km bought the car.

Honda performance is excellence. In comparison i noticed that 6 gen city body workmanship is very bad compared to brand MR T, Mr M. In fact 5th gen is much2 better. I used to say proton workmanship is bad but now honda is moving to proton position. Furthermore honda services charges is on a higher side. Next change will be other japan brand.

KAH MOTOR HONDA in Semabok Melaka was the worst technical service experince. Mechanics simply short cut job to spoil or made dirt and scraches customer internal car compartment. When customer took down the picture for evidence and complain to Superior, the top superior could easy replied customer like which he was order subordinate to do well in repair and fix by procedure, but subordinates still unwilling to follow until spoil or scrachesd customer internal car surface compartment What The Hell.
I am afraid my experience with Honda has forced me to look for European cars instead. I used Proton Waja for 9 years prior to my Honda Accord, I did have some problems but not with the engine bearing for its’ entire 9 years. With my Honda after 2 years I had to change it (engine bearing), worst thing is need to order despite being expensive. Again it is noisy after 1 year. The level of noise and vibration that I get from Honda which is going into its 6th year is equivalent to my old old Proton Saga.
Peace of mind? Useless Honda, I have my car less than 2 year and problem till now not solve.. Stupid media player and rattle… Always ask me bring to Honda sc but bring there the media player works well they ask me nx time come again.. Waste don’t know how many time.. Even provide video recording and audio proof they still deny.. My first n last Honda.. My nightmare car..

The idea is good but the execution need to be closely monitor. Don’t just tell people how good Honda Service centre are but instead make sure what mention above are truly deliver. Why I say this? Because i am a new Honda owner and this is not what i see at the service centre
