Naza to contribute RM1,000 to Tabung Harapan Malaysia for every car sold by the group till Aug 31

The Naza Group has announced it will contribute RM1,000 towards the Tabung Harapan Malaysia for every car sold by the group, from June 1 to August 31. Naza is the official importer and distributor for Ferrari, Maserati, Peugeot, Citroen, DS and Kia in Malaysia. The company is also a dealer for Mercedes-Benz.

“The Naza Group is proud to play its part by contributing to Tabung Harapan Malaysia as a responsible and patriotic corporate citizen. Our contribution is also our way of thanking the government of Malaysia for the stable economic and political landscape and most of all for the three-month tax holiday which has spurred sales of cars to achieve record levels this year,” said SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, group executive chairman and CEO.

“As a homegrown company, it is our obligation and responsibility to assist wherever possible for the betterment of our beloved nation, especially as we soon celebrate our 61st anniversary of Merdeka and 55th Malaysia Day,” he added.

Yes, for a company who have grown by the support of our Gomen & its Rakyat, contributing RM1k per car is just a TOKEN.
That is the least NAZA can do bcoz its Corporate Social Responsibility time for NAZA.
TQVM for contributing to Tabung Harapan nevertheless.

    WOW!! so goood.
But looking at the numbers of sales…
Only the Peugeot n KIA makes meaningful numbers.
even thats only roughly 2000 cars for 3 months sales.
Thats RM 2 million. which is nothing considering the Naza group boys have cars worth millions and more.

2 million is probably contributed from the Gurun plant sale to PSA. forgot how much.

Anyways hat offs, very smart PR stunt. :)

Any good gesture, no matter how trivial should be applauded. For all your banter, how much have you donated to Tabung Harapan?

A piece of advice, I think the 1K would be better spend in bringing your unreliable after sales service up to mark. Your attempt to curry favor with the New Government at the expense of your customers us certainly not appreciated.
