If you’ve been hankering for a trip abroad, Shell has launched its Win a Trip with Shell contest which has seen its first winner last week. Running from December 17, 2018 until March 31, 2019, the contest will rewards one winner on a weekly basis where themselves and one person of their choice will get to go to a destination of their choosing from Italy, New Zealand and South Korea.
To take part, customers will need to spend a minimum of RM40 at any Shell retail station nationwide. They can then choose a destination from the aforementioned countries in the contest form, and submit the form with valid and eligible receipts to be in for a chance to win a holiday package. Purchases eligible include Shell fuels, lubricants or any product sold within Shell Select and Kedai premises (except tobacco, E-Pay products and Touch N Go purchases).
“This contest, along with the many offerings, from fuels to Shell Select enable us to reward our customers and give them more reasons to return to our stations. Now, they also stand a chance to win a dream vacation when they visit and spend at Shell. This is in line with our aim to become a one-stop destination for our customers and help them leave our stations happier than when they arrived,” said managing director of Shell Malaysia Trading and Shell Timur Shairan Huzani Husain.
Roadshows will be held throughout the contest period, and will feature an interactive setup to showcase the grand prizes on offer. For example, a simulation of F1 racing will be on hand to portray the Italian flavour amongst the prizes on offer, while New Zealand is represented by a chance to try the haka. Meanwhile, fans of South Korean pop culture get to sample a dance-off to popular Korean music.
The roadshows will be taking place at Sunway Pyramid in Subang Jaya from January 17-20, East Coast Mall in Kuantan from January 31 to February 3, KSL City Mall in Johor Bahru from February 15-17, Queensbay Mall in Penang from February 21-24 and Aeon Station in Ipoh from February 26 to March 3.
