Aston Martin, in commemorating its partnership with iconic Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer, has introduced the DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition. Just 50 units of this stealthy beast will be made, and it’s only available in the sole Monaco Black exterior paintwork and accented with carbon-fibre accents.

Inside, it gets a similarly black theme, with black leather and Alcantara upholstery that’s contrasted with bright red stitching, piping, and Tag Heuer logos embroidered in the seats. The front fenders also feature additional Tag Heuer logos.

Mechanically, the DBS Superleggera remains unchanged. It’s powered by a 5.2 litre twin-turbocharged petrol V12 making 715 hp at 6,500 rpm and 900 Nm of torque between 1,800 and 5,000 rpm. That’s 85 hp and 200 Nm more than the DB11 AMR. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic, enabling a century sprint time of 3.4 seconds, while Vmax is rated at 340 km/h.

Now, there’s no word on its pricing just yet (the standard DBS Superleggera costs RM1.2 million a pop), but each purchase comes with a matching Carrera Heuer 01 Aston Martin Special Edition watch. If you’re only interested in the watch, good news then – it can be bought separately for US$6,550 (RM27k).
