Bentley Bentayga V8 Design Series officially revealed

This is the new Bentley Bentayga V8 Design Series, which is essentially a glitzier version of Crewe’s only SUV model. Based on the Bentayga V8, the variant features a number of unique touches to provide it with additional visual presence.

As a start, the Blackline package comes as standard, which includes a body-coloured lower apron on the front bumper and twin gloss black tailpipes. You’ll also get Design Series badging on the lower front doors so others around you are aware of what you own.

If that isn’t enough, the Mulliner Paragon wheels sport a seven-spoke design and come in dark metallic Palladium Grey finish with polished accents. They also get Mulliner Self Levelling Wheel Badges, whereby the ‘B’ badge remains upright when the wheels rotate, just like what you’ll find on another luxury car company.

The interior remains as exquisite as before, and buyers will have to pick one of four themes – Pillar Box Red, Orange, Mulliner White and Klein Blue – around a Beluga main leather upholstery.

The Design Series debuts a new contrast accent design line, which can be seen around the console and lower areas of the dashboard. Carbon-fibre weave is also applied to the dash and doors, while piano black trim is found in other areas.

No changes under the hood, with a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 churning out 550 PS (542 hp) and 770 Nm of torque, accompanied by an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
