Good news for riders of motorcycles below 150 cc who are in the Kepong area on June 3 – which is today – because from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm you will receive a free tank of petrol. This will happen at the Caltex station at the 8th Mile, Jalan Kepong in conjunction with the beginning of the Hari Raya holidays.
According to member of Parliament for Kepong, Lim Lip Eng in a Bernama report, this initiative is done in co-operation with the Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Kepong as a gesture of appreciation to residents. Meanwhile, head of Amanah Kepong Datuk Mohd Noor Ali Bakar said the free petrol is limited to motorcycles with a capacity of 150 cc and below.
“This programme is focused on the B40 segment and a gesture of thanks for being part of the Kepong community. We hope this gift of petrol will reduce their burden during the return journey to usher in the month of Syawal,” said Mohd Noor. He explained the programme is a follow-on from the successful free petrol effort that was given out to 300 riders last month.
