Volvo Cars Malaysia (VCM) has given the XC60, XC90 and S90 a minor update, with all three models now benefitting from a full leather dashboard with contrast stitching (referred to as the Tailored Instrument Panel). According to the company, this upgrade (along with a revised colour palette) was rolled out earlier this year in April-May, and comes at no change in pricing.

However, the Tailored Dashboard is only found on T8 Inscription and T8 Inscription Plus variants of the aforementioned models, so the XC60 T5 AWD Momentum, XC90 T5 AWD Momentum and S90 T5 Momentum will not come with it.

Pricing for XC60 is from RM298,888 (on-the-road without insurance) for the T5 Momentum, while the T8 Inscription goes for RM333,888, and the T8 Inscription Plus for RM343,888. The XC90 range includes the T5 Momentum (RM373,888), T8 Inscription (RM399,888) and T8 Inscription Plus (RM409,888).

Finally, the S90, which also has the same variant offerings as its SUV siblings, retails at RM338,888 for the T5 Momentum, RM366,888 for the T8 Inscription and RM386,888 for the T8 Inscription Plus. Aside from the addition of the Tailored Instrument Panel on selected variants, the list of equipment for all variants remains the same.

All T5 cars are powered by a Drive-E 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which puts out 254 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The T8 Twin Engine is a plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a Drive-E mill with 320 hp and 400 Nm, along with an 87 hp/240 Nm electric motor that powers the rear wheels for electric all-wheel drive. All powertrains feature an Aisin-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
