GoCar, ERL launch new KLIA Ekspres + GoCar pack – convenient first- and last-mile solution for travellers

GoCar Malaysia and Express Rail Link (ERL) have jointly introduced the new KLIA Ekspres + GoCar Package, offering travellers a more convenient solution to their first- and last-mile needs. A quick check on KLIA Ekpres reveals that the package, which includes a return trip (to or from KLIA and KLIA2), costs RM101 per person. Additional passengers in the same transaction cost RM90 per adult, or RM40.50 per child.

Starting today, travellers are able to pick up their preferred GoCar vehicle at selected ERL stations such as KL Sentral (KLIA Ekspres Arrival Hall and Departure Hall), Bandar Tasik Selatan, and Salak Tinggi, the last being its new hub.

To commemorate the new partnership with ERL, the car-sharing service provider is offering a 28% discount (redeemable via a promo code issued upon purchase) on any GoCar bookings at KL Sentral Station when they purchase the KLIA Ekspres + GoCar Package online. At the Salak Tinggi Station, travellers also get the option to take a One-Way Trip or round trip with GoCar vehicles.

Offered within the fleet are vehicles such as the Nissan Almera, which can be booked on an hourly basis for as low as RM6.90. Larger models such as the Renault Captur and Koleos can also be had – GoCar also plans to introduce the Nissan Serena Hybrid to the fleet in the near future. Bookings for the vehicles must be made at least 12 hours prior to collection.

GoCar Malaysia president, Nicholas Tan, said: “Connectivity has always played a vital role in the transportation industry, even more so these days. Similarly, as travellers, we are also looking for that seamless experience when it comes to mobility. We are excited to work with ERL to realise this shared vision and bring this convenience to more travellers who are going to or from KLIA and KLIA2.”

ERL CEO, Noormah Mohd Noor also added: “We are delighted to officially forge our partnership with GoCar Malaysia. This KLIA Ekspres and GoCar package would offer a seamless journey for our customers who appreciate the speed and reliability of our train service, as well as the flexibility and convenience of car-sharing while contributing positively to reducing their carbon footprint.”

“With Visit Malaysia Year 2020 just around the corner, it is timely that we can offer visitors such a versatile package, together with GoCar Malaysia,” she noted.

I dont blame the taxi drivers as they are protesting in other countries as well. The problem is Loki didnt manage the situation well becoz he was more concerned on making money and not handling the problem. Plain n simple.

cannot agree more. Grab was so cheap and good before all these regulations came about. I hope the old tekso drivers start to work hard than always seeking freebies and bantuan

  • GoCar or Go-jek? on Dec 04, 2019 at 1:05 pm

This GoCar Malaysia is the same as GoCar by Go-Jek (Indonesia) or not? There is no mention at all about the relationship!

I noticed that this GoCar app interface does not look similar to Go-jek app

Whats the point of taking a car, jam all the way to sentral (or back from sentral) when one can just hire a grab car for a fixed fee.

Even SoCar does it cheaper for 1 way drop off if you really feel like driving yourself
