2019 Renault Captur Trophy LE in Malaysia – RM108k

2019 Renault Captur Trophy LE in Malaysia – RM108k

TC Euro Cars has officially launched the limited edition Renault Captur Trophy, and it’s priced at RM107,980. The price is identical to the base Captur, so you’re not paying more for exclusivity. It’s also available on Renault Subscription – prices start from RM1,499 monthly for the two-year Fixed Plan package.

We’ve gone over the car before, but a quick recap won’t hurt. Unique to the Captur Trophy is of course the Trophy Orange paintwork, and it comes complete with a bodykit (with chrome accents) and three-dimensional black chequered flag decals on the sides. A hands-free powered tailgate is standard, too.

Inside, the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with GPS navigation and internet connectivity, the latter enabling app support such as Waze, Joox, and more. Black combination leather seats are standard, as are the front centre armrest, front-facing dash cam, scuff plates, boot sill guard, reverse camera, and the usual list of safety features.

There are no mechanical changes, though. Power comes from the same 1.2 litre TCe 120 petrol engine (now with auto stop-start), outputting 120 PS and 205 Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm. It gets a six-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) transmission as standard, and the claimed combined fuel consumption figure is 5.9 litres per 100 km (16.9 km/l, NEDC cycle).

Now, TC Euro Cars will reward five lucky customers of the Captur Trophy with the chance to drive the all-new Megane RS for a month. Subscription customers who opt for the Switch Prime Plan will get to enjoy up to four months’ access to the Renault Renault family of cars, such as the Koleos and the Megane RS.

There is also the Renault Honour trade-in programme, which guarantees the future value of your Captur should you choose trade it in for any brand new Renault model in the future. The Renault Honour programme is available for a limited time only.

Again, the Captur is priced at RM108k, and included in the price is a five-year manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage, as well as a five-year or 100,000 km free service and maintenance (including parts and labour) package.

  • Regular capture looks wayy better, should have spend d money on some maroon or coffee coloured Nappa leather instead.

The problem with Renault is , their interiors is absolutely hideous.

They should learn from Peugeot on how to pull off amazing interiors, regardless the price and class of cars
