Honda Malaysia (HM) announced the Honda City Special Edition earlier this month, but the car wasn’t in showrooms yet then and there were no official images of the SE. The enhanced B-segment sedan has now surfaced and here’s a full live gallery.
Essentially, the City SE is a V grade car dressed up with the Modulo accessories package, but with no price increase. Only 99 units of the SE will be available for RM95,200 on-the-road without insurance.
Goodies added to the V include a Modulo front under spoiler, rear under spoiler and side skirts. No boot spoiler though, so that’s something for you to add on. An ‘SE’ badge on the rear completes the exterior. Inside, HM has added side step garnish, interior foot lighting (white), a front digital video recorder a.k.a. dashcam and a trunk tray to the City V.
Finally, the City SE can only be had in Platinum White Pearl (the V’s actual price is RM94,900, but pearl white adds on RM300). No change in the wheels, which are bright-faced 16-inch items with 185/55 tyres.
Standard kit on the V includes automatic LED headlamps, keyless entry/start with walk away auto lock, remote engine start, single-zone auto air con, Honda LaneWatch and an 8.0-inch touchscreen head unit with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-pot with 121 PS/145 Nm. Drive from the DOHC i-VTEC unit goes to the front axle via a CVT. Once again, the City SE goes for RM95,200 OTR without insurance, which is the V’s price plus RM300 for the pearl white paint job. In other words, it’s a V with a free Modulo bodykit and other accessories. Browse the full gallery below.
There’s also a WR-V SE for those who prefer an SUV body.

Right, what’ so special? anyone can do that or even better by going aftermarket.
Not worth the price . Fair price for normal V spec is around 85K . Competition is super stiff now with China cars .
More like”MIDulo” lol
