Surprise! We’ve just received confirmation that the MG Cyberster will make a special appearance at our own paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2024 show, which will take place over the weekend of October 26-27 at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC). This will be the electric roadster’s first public display in Malaysia.
This is not any electric roadster, of course, as it’s one fitted with Lambo-style scissor doors; the very first of its kind at that. Two upward-opening and powered doors, two seats, power-operated retractable fabric top, supercar-baiting performance (0-100 km/h in 3.8 second on the AWD model) and to 509 km of range – what’s not to like?
MG really has gone all out to make the Cyberster – its 100th anniversary celebration showcase – a special treat for its fans. It stands as both the brand’s flagship and halo model, blending MG’s rich roadster heritage with the vigour of modern electric innovation.
It has already been confirmed that the Cyberster will eventually be launched in Malaysia, so the public display at ACE 2024 can be a great opportunity for you to try it on for size before making that all-important decision: should you get it in Dynamic Red or Inca Yellow?
It’s also a fact that it looks far better in the flesh than it does in photos, so seeing it in person is an absolute must. The minimalist yet plush all-Nappa leather and Alcantara cockpit (to be shown in right-hand drive form, ready for launch) is best experienced first hand too, of course.
Alongside the Cyberster, MG will also showcase its entire lineup at ACE 2024, including the MG5 that will be launched today, the HS SUV that will be introduced very soon, the ZS EV and the MG4. Entry is free, so we’ll see you at SCCC on October 26-27!
