Lotus Cars Malaysia, importer and distributor of the Lotus brand of automobiles in Malaysia, has announced the opening of its retail outlet in Malaysia with the introduction of Lotus Store Penang. The new facility, located at No 2A-01-02 in Jalan Penang, joins the stores in Pavilion Damansara Heights and Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur to consolidate the brand’s presence in the country.
Prospective owners can peruse the Emira and Eletre in detail at the location, and like the other outlets, the Penang store has a dedicated configurator lounge, which provides an immersive and intimate environment for prospective customers to personalise their Lotus vehicles.
This ranges from vehicle exterior for trim, paint colour, wheels and tyres, brake caliper colour, brake specifications and badging, while interior kit can also be selected for materials, theme, seat belts, steering wheel and carbon-fibre inlays, along with the selection of equipment packs.
The complete Lotus model line-up is currently being offered in Malaysia, from the Eletre all-electric performance SUV and full-electric Emeya hyper-GT in their base, S and R forms to the Emira sports car, which is available in Emira First Edition, First Edition V6, Emira Turbo and Emira Turbo SE guises.
“Penang is a very important and strategic location for Lotus Cars Malaysia, and we are extremely pleased to unveil the fully operational facility in 2024,” said Lotus Cars Malaysia executive director Mohamed Reza Abdul Mutalib.
Lotus Store Penang is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 10am to 7pm, and from 10.30am to 4.30pm. on Sundays and public holidays.
