PJ/Damansara folks and regular visitors to The Starling, good news for you if you own an EV. The popular neighbourhood mall in Damansara Uptown now has EV chargers, so you can top up while visiting.

The chargers aren’t in the mall’s basement or elevated carpark, but are located at the lobby of the Somerset serviced apartment, which is near the mall’s valet parking and ground floor Nando’s. Opposite HSBC, if you need more orientation.

Launched yesterday (free charging for first day users), the DC chargers are by chargEV, and there are five bays in total. The Kempower units can dispense up to 400 kW per bay, they say, so if you have a hungry beast of an electric car, bottoms up at RM1.60 per kWh here – don’t take too long in the mall, though.

The CPO has announced an opening 50% discount for four days starting from today, which means the half price offer ends on November 29.
