2024 MINI Cooper S 5-Door in Malaysia, fr RM293k est

Previewed in Malaysia in October, the latest F65 MINI Cooper S 5-Door is, as its name suggests, a more-doored version of the F66 three-door hatch, which launched in Malaysia earlier this year. Here are some showroom photos for you to take a closer look.

Compared to its three-door sister, the body and wheelbase are respectively 172 mm and 72 mm longer. Length, width, height and wheelbase are 4,036 mm, 1,744 mm, 1,464 mm and 2,567 mm respectively.

A 2.0 litre turbo four-cylinder petrol engine sends 204 PS and 300 Nm of torque to the front wheels via a seven-speed DCT, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 6.8 seconds (two-tenths of a second slower than the three-door) and a 242 km/h top whack.

As standard you get 18-inch ‘Slide Spoke’ two-tone alloys, high beam assist and LED tail lamps with three selectable light signatures. Step inside to Vescin vegan leather seat upholstery with perforated houndstooth patterns, contrasting blue textile inserts, a 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen with MINI OS 9 and MINI Experience Modes, amongst others.

Safety kit includes lane change and lane departure warning, front collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning, active cruise control with stop-and-go, lane control assistant, speed limit assist, parking assistant plus and reversing assistant as well as Remote 3D View.

The F65 MINI Cooper S 5-Door is estimated to be priced from RM293,000 (some RM13k more than the three-door F66), and you can add an estimated RM10,400 for the extended warranty and service package. Like what you see?
