Finally, one can use credit and debit cards for payment on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway, as concessionaire AFA Prime has announced a public pilot test of the open payment system.
If you want to pay with your bank card, look out for lanes with the MyDebit, Visa and Mastercard logos, which are available at both the Karak Highway’s Gombak and Bentong toll plazas. Tap your card on the designated bank card reader, which is separate from the Touch n Go card reader.
Make sure that your bank account has sufficient funds and bank cards can be used to wave for payment, to ensure smooth flow at the toll plaza.
