KTMB CNY Excursion train – KL-Butterworth and back

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is introducing a special Chinese New Year ‘Excursion’ train service which will run from KL Sentral to Butterworth via Tanjung Malim, Kampar, Batu Gajah, Ipoh, Kuala Kangsar, Taiping and Bukit Mertajam on January 27 (Train 1038), and the other way on January 28 (Train 1039), Bernama reports.

You can be one of the 792 ticket-holders from today, January 21, 10am – buy cashlessly via the KTMB Mobile app (KITS) or any KTMB Kiosk. One-way fares range from RM60 (superior class) to RM90 (premier class).
