KLIA aerotrain back by Q2, no later than June – MAHB

It’s hard to believe we’ve been doing without it for two years already, but Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) managing director Datuk Mohd Izan Ghani has said that the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) aerotrain is expected to be back in service by the second quarter this year, reports the New Straits Times.

The trains are currently undergoing extensive testing, and these tests must be approved by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) and the transport ministry before service can resume, he said. It will not be delayed beyond June, and the project cost remains at RM456 million, he added. The new CRCC-Alstom three-car trains come from Wuhu, China.

Hey it’s MAHB that delayed la. What Loke? Loke also not happy with them. That’s why he agrees with the merger so all those dead wood s in MAHB, just like in MAS will be rid off. Before to comment, research first the story.

Nothing to do with MAHB since all rail is under Loke and why merge with a company sponsoring genocide? Because PH is under Zions now?

the problem with government tender for projects is that they are somehow stucked with underperforming parties. Pestech had proven to done a poor job. why still have to get Pestech involved. MAHB is also known to have poor project management … that is if they ever manage any project… the multilevel car park in pg airport is a good example. completion take years. apparently the contractor build sub-standard and drap long to remedy the issue. built up but never available to use for close to 2 years… now after another 2 years, shamefully, we see leaking !!!…

  • One wide bodied aircraft has a bigger capacity than these trains. If say three were to land simultaneously, there would be a bottleneck.
