Acting on public complaints, a special operation was carried out by the Gombak district police (IPD Gombak) and Rawang police last week. During the two-hour operation, 110 motorcycles and 124 students were stopped and inspected, with 93 summons issued for various traffic offences.
Among the offences targetted were operating a vehicle without a licence, illegal vehicle modification, and operating a vehicle while underaged. The operation, led by Inspector Muhammad Fahmi Shamsuddin and Inspector Syafrina Nadzleen Ibrahim, plus 18 traffic police (JSPT) personnel, was held at Jalan Tun Perak, Rawang.
IPD Gombak said in a social media post such operations will continue to be conducted, focusing on educating students on traffic rules and regulations. IPD Gombak previously conducted such an operation on student riders in May this year, where 95 students and 75 motorcycles were inspected during the operation with 72 summons issued.

They should ride bicycle instead
why not rotan them on the spot. if school disciplin teacher can use rotan pdrm should can too
Becoz of politics, dont sacrifice our next gen. Punish them according to the law.
Is issuing summons effective? Are they going to pay? Or are they just going to wait for discounts and pay perhaps 10 years from now? And more importantly, are they going to learn from being caught?
93 out of 124 is 75% . If this sampling is indicative of national level then God bless you
Well, dont have to go very far.lol! Just checkout all the secondary schools nearby and we can find many students without licence, riding without helmet, speeding and so on. Its been happening everywhere for very long time.
