Several arounds around and within Shah Alam will be partially closed to facilitate the 2025 Malaysia Vibe Fest (Half Marathon), which is set to take place next Saturday on November 29.
In a statement, Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) said the road closures will take place between 4am and 11am on the day to make way for runners taking part in the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km categories.
The affected routes are roads around i-City, Jalan Plumbum, Persiaran Permai, Persiaran Selangor, Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Masjid, Bulatan Bestari, Persiaran Kayangan, Section 7, Section 14 and other major junctions, as listed by MBSA.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys on the day the event takes place and to consider using alternative routes to avoid congestion. “Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” MBSA said in its statement.
