早前，我们已经报道，Mercedes-Benz最新的头灯照明技术，Digital Light确认将投入量产，并且率先搭载在宾士家族中最，最，最旗舰的Mercedes-Maybach S-Class身上［点击这里查看新闻背景］。如今，原厂释出了最新的预告短片，为这套自家的“黑科技”造势！
根据原厂的介绍，这个新的照明技术拥有比Multibeam LED头灯组更高效率而且更精准的照射角度，它的特点在于每个头灯内建超过百万个像素点，而且每个头灯内建独立的发光晶片组，能与内建的百万各微反光罩整合在一起，提供更有效的照明效果。
同时，它将会透过前挡风玻璃摄影镜头以及探测器，用来侦测前方与对面的来车，再透过内建的电脑利用车上搭载的导航系统图资进行数据分析，其分析与运算效率达到毫秒等级，能在最快的时间作出判断并调整头灯的照射角度，避免强光影响到其它驾驶者的视野。

- DIGITAL LIGHT ermöglicht bahnbrechende Fahrassistenz. Symbole können in HD-Qualität auf die Straße projiziert werden. Beim Fahren in einer Baustelle werden ein Baustellenwarnsymbol und zwei Lichtspuren auf die eigene Fahrspur projiziert. 除了更好的照明效率以及更精准的照射角度调整以外，新的Digital Light也可以做到近乎一般投影机的投影效果，它可把宾士或AMG的厂徽，或者是特定的标志投射到路面或前方的障碍物上，譬如说电脑透过导航图资侦测到前方是工地，就会把工地的标志投射在路面上提醒驾驶者小心，而且是以高清的解析度呈现！
另外，它也能透过镜头和侦测器收集到的当下环境数据，对头灯组的操控电脑下达照射特定角度的指令，譬如说车子行驶在一些不平坦的道路时，头灯组可以调整照射角度特地把比较幽暗或电脑认为可能存在发生事故机率的地点照得更亮，确保行车更安全。
