More details surrounding the new W205 Mercedes-Benz C 200 Exclusive variant have finally been revealed. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has long confirmed the model’s price at RM252,888, but only now has it revealed a spec sheet that details the car.
The new C 200 Exclusive joins the existing C 200 Avantgarde (RM248,888) and C 250 AMG (RM287,888) as the mid-range variant of the locally-assembled W205 C-Class family. This could also be joined by a new base C 180 and new top-shelf C 300.
Its a look that’s familiar, given that it is pretty much identical to the C 250 Exclusive variant which has been discontinued in Malaysia. The Exclusive Line exterior kit here predominantly consists of a unique front bumper, traditional radiator grille and bonnet-mounted Three-Pointed Star. The Air Panel active shutter grille that was on the C 250 Exclusive appears to be no longer available.
The C 200 Exclusive also notably gains Mercedes-Benz LED Intelligent Light System (previously only available on the C 250 AMG), and like the C 250 Exclusive, a front-only sunroof is specified. Unique 18-inch five, twin-spoke alloy wheels are equipped (pictured here). Comparatively, the C 200 Avantgarde offers 18-inch five-spoke rollers.
Just like the recently-updated C 200 Avantgarde, the C 200 Exclusive gets dual exhaust pipes each side of the rear bumper. The variant also gets a Comfort suspension, unlike the C 200 Avantgarde’s Agility Control arrangement that has been lowered by 15 mm.
Based on the brief specifications provided in this brochure, it looks like most of the C 200 Exclusive’s remaining equipment mirror that of the C 200 Avantgarde, save for the brown open-pore ash wood trim, leather-covered dash and an analogue clock on the dash. Unfortunately, keyless entry is still not available in the C 200 range, though keyless engine start is standard.
Other key interior appointments include Audio 20 CD with Touchpad infotainment system, Active Parking Assist, Rear View Camera, and an Interior Lighting Package. The Air Balance perfume package that was on the C 250 Exclusive has been given a miss.
There aren’t any changes to note in the powertrain department, where the C 200 continues to feature a 2.0 litre twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder engine which delivers 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The model is capable of performing the century sprint in 7.3 seconds, and has a top speed of 235 km/h. A 7G-Tronic seven-speed torque converter automatic transmission is equally standard fare.

C63 AMG is not impressive. Loud exhaust but the turbo lag defeats the engine power. Sad.
Proton better than Mercedes junk. Mercedes Dear Leader pakai in Penang. Lousy car. BN and Najib pakai Perdana. Kami cinta kereta nasional.
Balik lah RBA john, jangan kelentong di sini
So for 4k extra u get back the adaptive lights which was available in the previous gen W204 and a sunroof….right. This car needs the new 9 speeder though, the current 7 setup isn’t the most intelligent gearbox out there…
Even 100 speeder is useless for this kind of disease car
They all did drama reducing car prices last year to excite rakyat. Now slowly increase whilst reducing spec.
Mercedes E350 with 320 Bhp selling for US$53k brand new. After discounts, can even get the car for US$45k for a CBU Made in Germany model.

Did bmw ever claim to have plush cars? Lol bet you’ve never driven one
premium Sime Darby. Lol
As far as I remember the W204 didn’t have adaptive lights for Malaysia.
Yes, W204 face-lift comes with adaptive lights.
Is the exclusive’s rims the same as the updated avant-garde?hopefully not…
They’re not, as pictured here.
Oh good thanks. Just wanna reconfirm.
uncle’s car :D
Heard that the Airpanel is discontinued on the c200, the radiator grille will remain open always. I think that when Airpanel is not installed or its vanes are open, the traditional grill looks functional and aggressive. Can you confirm this….
I know what you mean. Due to the light colour of the louvre, it gives a certain illusion when it is closed. And that illusion gets amplified if you have your car in dark colours.
Many in the US actually mod it to black.
The w205 is nice looking in pictures. In the metal its like an awkward looking date.
Aiyo… Why don’t have the Airpanel louvre? I would much prefer the unique airpanel then the useless sunroof.
Is the active parking assist a standard in all the c200 exclusive models? Blur me cant figure out how to activate it
