There is another video showing the “making of” of the short films and in it is an interview with Clive Owen where he mentions the snapping-fingers-while-cornering shot. Actually, there was another stunt driver seated next to him doing all the driving but it was executed so well that for awhile, everyone thought that he was the one doing the actual driving.
Fyi, these short videos also appear in marketing books as a lesson in online marketing where exclusive short films were made by BMW specifically for downloading on the internet.
Clever move as these videos were very popular when they were launched a few years back.

Yeah the car was both left and right driven. So if Clive hung on to the steering wheel too tight then they probably would have crashed.
