Verdict
The iX is still the large, fully electric BMW SUV in the local line-up, above smaller models such as the iX1 and iX3. It is not cheap: the xDrive45 starts just below the Lexus RZ and Porsche Macan Electric, while the xDrive60 sits above the Volvo EX90’s entry price. What it gives back is proper big-battery EV range and a clear step up in power on the xDrive60.
