New Chevrolet Aveo hatchback revealed

For the past few months the old Chevrolet Aveo hatch was being sold along side the new Aveo sedan in the US, but now Chevrolet has unveiled an updated hatch model, thus completing the Aveo line update. Chevrolet says the new Aveo hatch has been completely redesigned, but somehow the side profile seems to be too similiar to the current model and looks like a facelift instead.

Casting doubt aside, let’s look at the specs. The new Aveo5 hatch will come with either a 84 horsepower 1.2 litre petrol engine or the existing 1.4 litre 98 horsepower engine. The car will make it’s first public debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, and sales will start in March 2008.

Hmm..Remember those 3 concept cars from GM? Traxx, Groove.. etc. The new grille resemble to those. But hey, those headlight taken from its sibling, Suzuki right? Still look like a facelift.

Personally, I think the car looks good.

When other car manufacturers get some ideas from each other, most people will say nice, cool etc… However, if Proton cars come with such a front grille, people will say cut and paste. ~ SIGH ~. Typical bashers.

i never adore the name chevrolet, and its badge, i dont know why?

pity when people pronounced it ‘cevrolek’ instead of correct ‘shevreley’

Nice front facelift. Unfortunately, still an underpowered Daewoo engine.

Something needs to be done there.

GM Daewoo/Chevrolet needs to work on valve technology development.
