Lexus Malaysia is starting the year by introducing two new showrooms in downtown KL and Sungai Besi. Launched simultaneously, Lexus Sungai Besi is a 3S centre while Lexus Kuala Lumpur acts as a showroom focusing solely on sales.
Attending the official launch event yesterday were Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, chairman of UMW Toyota (UMWT), Datuk Takashi Hibi, deputy chairman of UMWT, Datuk Syed Hisham Syed Wazir, president and group CEO of UMW Holdings Bhd and Datuk Ismet Suki, president of UMWT.
“Since 2007, we have sold more than 4,300 units of Lexus vehicles in Malaysia. Out of this, close to 1,500 units were sold last year alone. With the steady growth year after year, we are proud that our stable of flawlessly crafted luxury cars has been well received by Malaysians,” Ismet Suki said.
Lexus Sg Besi is owned and operated by Wing Hin Auto Carriage, a long time distributor of Lexus and Toyota. The renovated RM5.5 million facility features 10 service bays, a guest lounge and 37 staff. Lexus KL, on the other hand, offers guests “the unparalleled experience of buying a brand new Lexus vehicle.”
The two new facilities take the number of Lexus showrooms nationwide to five, with four of them being 3S centres. Three more Lexus centres in Ipoh, Kuching and Melaka will be opened in Q4 2013.

*yawnnnn. Lexus is boring.
prestige and luxury.
this is how a luxury brand SC should look like..
:)
you must be a BMW fan. You really need to experience Lexus customer service to feel what one should really feel like as a premium car owner. Still, im going to sungai besi just to see the LFA.
Why the service bay floor tiles so bling bling type? Should have used a mirror flooring instead..
please la. of those misery few k sales, most of them ct200h. CHEAP
haha… another comment that out of jealousy… @pro-san, i think most probably u cant afford a Lexus, thats why u gave such a response… never mind, toyota is good enough for u :)
I can afford not only one but 10 for my maids
most of the ppl who make sour comments are those who have not experienced driving a Lexus/can’t even afford to own one. Pathetic.
Lexus, natural migration for Toyota owners, AND those German Car owners that are sick and tired of going to the workshop and or calling up tow truck operators
Lexus is indeed a good car. my mum owned one before. the 1st generation RX 300. when we 1st bought it, our car was the oni few (2nd or 3rd) in malaysia. great experiences, unfortunately have to sell it 5 years later to make way for an MPV. sad…
