Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. You’ve probably heard the saying a million times before. Now watch it get applied in custom wheel maker Forgiato’s latest ad, called Unbreakable. As a male member of the species who adores cars, this writer is having extremely mixed emotions about said video.
Without giving away too much, the ad revolves around a supermodel who decides to give a Ferrari 458 Italia a rather violent makeover via the means of a sledgehammer. With most of the car destroyed, she moves on to the wheels which – surprise, surprise – doesn’t cave in. At all.
Said model (the car) comes powered by a 4.5 litre naturally-aspirated V8, producing 570 hp at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Responsible for sending power to the rear wheels is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, with a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed in excess of 325 km/h.
Brilliant bit of absurdity aside, the ad goes to show just how durable Forgiato products are. That and, of course, never to cheat on your partner.
