Remember that Mercedes-AMG GT S that we saw being transported in KL earlier this month? It turns out that it might have been a Mercedes-Benz Malaysia after all.
We saw caught this image of what appears to be an AMG GT preview event on racer Fairuz Fauzy’s Instagram account yesterday. The post description has the hashtags #mercedesbenzmalaysia and #mofazexoticcar. Mofaz Exotic Car is a Mercedes-Benz Malaysia dealership with outlets in Langkawi, Kota Bahru and Kuala Terengganu.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also put up this teaser image for the AMG GT on their Facebook fan page yesterday, so it looks like the car will be launching way ahead of the original plan which was sometime the end of the year.
The AMG GT is currently shipping in its more upmarket 510 hp and 650 Nm GT S form – the ‘baseline’ 462 hp and 600 Nm GT will only start arriving into the market in a couple of months time.
