Gua guarantee Malaysia can hit 40% increase in April, next year! Sokong la PM
Malaysian all waiting for BN’s promise of 30% price reduction before purchasing. No increase in sales until 2018 May.
Even our own neighbour Thailand and Singapore have low regard for our Protons. You see in UK for example, you can see so many French cars like Peugeot and Renault.
Why? Because it is neighbour’s car and cheap to buy.
But in Thailand, even the Thais are so shy to buy Proton. Buying a Proton is so so so malu for them because the car is so low quality.
In Singapore, Proton sold just 1 car last year. But Proton Malaysia will keep a fancy showtroom and pay expat fees to the abangs to man the showroom there. Untung from the 1 car sold probably RM2000 but to maintain the showroom and pay the abangs, cost RM100k.
And yet, we give RM1.5 billion to Proton to waste even more money.
The article not even mention about Proton and you start to tell your grandfather story here… are you high on todi??
Looks like Honda is doing better than Toyota even in Thailand
Toyota sold 20k vehicles n honda only 11k…n yet honda is still btter than toyota…wow…im speechless
remember Toyota sells a lot of commercial vehicles but Honda does not sell any commercials. But even then the Hilux is outsold by the D-max. That is very significant fact
Toyota is so-yesterday already la, hailat-hailat ….
if cannot increase 40% then what u gonna do, PM? shut down overseas dealers? pls don’t waste our hard earned money…
If we buy cars under value then we can expect an increase of 100%…what la 40%…maybe tokong can help us…
The d-max has been leading the new hilux revo for 4 months straight now but the hilux seems to be catching up. Nice dogfight between these two pickups.
Sales drop 23%!?! Thai Loo can bungkus nasi lemak liao! Thai pipu smart alredi. They no longer worship moving coffins unlike MY pipu. Too bad toyota put in ESC & new engine into vios too late alredi.
With such limited models Honda managed to be 1st in few categories, good job.Civic sold 1.5k units within just half month! April should be on top of taxi altis. As predicted, vios was MIA completely.Yaris quite a looker,if UMW can fill in big gap in pc sales & price it wisely on par with jazz.Thais would crown big T as leader again as 4×4 contributed huge sales,ie fortuner & hilux will arise but D-max still under good run too.Unfortunately Bolehland wouldn’t be the same as complex industrialists Thai market. So big t sales will remain the same until Toyota designer can replace old daddy look to more sleeker passenger cars here.. BRV arrival can wipe out avanza sales easily too.Would be interesting if Honda can bring in Ridgeline truck although wouldn’t be as hit as other bigger sushi trucks.
Honda is not even listed in the top 10 best selling cars is australia…even merz sells btter than them…no idea why malaysians r so hadap with honda…btw Toyota is No 1 in Australia…
looks like toyota doing better than proton
if u noticed some classes..honda and toyota didnt compete together. toyota compact suv still nowhere to be found. honda didnt have mini mpv and body on frame suv.
