Renault is no stranger to the world of motorsport. Through the years, the French carmaker has been involved in a variety of racing disciples, from road races, to Formula E, and most prominently Formula One. Names like Schumacher, Button, Prost, Trulli and Alonso have all been behind the wheel of a Renault F1 race car.

This racing heritage stretches back over 115 years, allowing Renault to adapt the knowledge gained on track to its road cars. To celebrate this commitment and passion towards innovation, TC Euro Cars (TCEC) has announced the ‘Renault – Motorsports, it’s in our DNA’ campaign, which is ongoing until August 31, 2016.

One of the models which instils Renault’s motorsport know-how is the Renault Captur. As part of the ‘Discover it in the Captur’ promotion, a bevy of goodies awaits Renault customers who purchase the crossover. For starters, they stand to enjoy monthly instalments from as low as RM888 per month with the Renault Easy Ownership Plan. Not only that, customers will also benefit from cash rebates and receive an enticing trade-in value when they purchase the Captur during the promotion period.

The Renault Captur is priced at RM117,200 on-the-road without insurance, and comes with an impressive 1.2 litre Turbo Control Efficiency (TCe) 120 turbocharged engine with 118 hp and 190 Nm, similar to that of a larger, traditional 1.8 litre engine. A six-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox means seamless shifting for better fuel efficiency as well.

Each purchase of the Captur is accompanied by a five-year full manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage. If that isn’t enough, there is also free three-year or 60,000km (whichever comes first) maintenance package for improved peace of mind.

As mentioned, there are more goodies to be given out for customers who purchase any Renault model, including the Captur, during the campaign period. Firstly, there is the Renault Sport Formula One Team Experience contest, where three lucky winners stand to win a pair of passes each to the Grandstand and Renault Garage Visit during the 2016 F1 Malaysian Grand Prix in October later this year.

Additionally, each contest participant will also receive a Renault Sport Formula One Team Merchandise Pack upon delivery of their new vehicle. That’s not all because during the campaign period, those who test drive a Renault vehicle at any Renault showroom will receive instant gifts.

They will also be one of 30 lucky winners to take home an exclusive Renault Sport Formula One Team scale model.
