Comprehensive motor insurance tariffs will be lifted in July – what does that mean to the consumer?

Last July, the insurance industry in Malaysia kicked off on its journey towards the eventual removal of motor and fire tariffs. Announced by Bank Negara Malaysia last year, the programme will work towards full detariffication in 2019, with buyers paying their insurance premiums based on their risk profile and being able to shop around for the best rates.

As such, it’s going to eventually be a very open and highly competitive marketplace, and perhaps a little confusing at the start. As such, we’d like to invite you to take a short survey to find out how much you know about the matter. Your feedback will be valuable in gauging what’s important to you, the consumer, so please take the survey below.

UPDATE: The survey is now closed. Thank you for your participation.
