Audi Malaysia has announced the official appointment of Rimau International as its latest authorised dealer, which has begun operations from a temporary facility in Setia Alam since Q4 2016.
“We at Audi Malaysia are truly delighted to welcome Rimau International into the fold as our newest dealer partner. They bring with them a wealth of experience from Japan, where they also operate a number of Audi dealerships in Kyoto.
“It is my belief that their unparalleled attention to detail and quality, coupled with our commitment to increasing the depth and breadth of Audi’s product and service offerings in Malaysia will lead to a mutually beneficial partnership for both of our organisations in the near future,” said Sridheevan (Dave) Sivanantham, director of sales at Audi Malaysia.
Yasuhiko Osada, managing director of Rimau International mentions, “Back in Japan, we have represented the Audi brand for over 25 years. We have seen the brand with the four rings take on a leading position in the premium automotive segment, and I am very happy that our partnership has been able to bear fruit outside of our home market.”
“Audi is known around the world as a progressive and aspirational brand and we are looking forward to combining our Japanese omotenashi (hospitality) approach with German Vorsprung durch Technik engineering to provide the definitive automotive retail and customer service experience in the Klang Valley,” he continues.
The Setia Alam dealership is the ninth official Audi sales outlet in Malaysia, and the first from Rimau International. Currently, the temporary showroom is equipped with two service bays and a team of 15 sales and aftersales personnel.
Later on, the company will shift from the temporary facility to a new purpose-built one from the first quarter of 2018. The four-storey facility will occupy and area of just over 100,000 square feet, and features a showroom floor capable of displaying up to 20 cars (new and pre-owned), 20 service bays and a customer lounge.
In conjunction with the opening of Audi Setia Alam, the public is invited to attend the Audi Setia Alam Bonanza Weekend from May 12-14, 2017. Customers will be able check out the latest A4 variants as well as other Audi vehicles, with promotions and gifts on offer as well. For more information on the event, please contact the dealership at 03-3362 6224.
