This weekend, witness one of Malaysia’s largest local motorsport events at the Sepang International Circuit – for the first time, five different motorsport event genres will be hosted under one roof. The Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) series will be having its finale event on December 2 and 3, 2017. And yes, the headline is right, there will be free grandstand access too!

This two-day event will include door-to-door car races with up to 170 cars, a car and superbike track day, a drift challenge, a time attack challenge and a car show – yes, all these at one place. The event is also spectator friendly with all-day F&B and even a water park for the children on the final day.

On December 2, you will be able to catch the MSF Track Day for superbikes and cars as they practice their driving and riding skills on the full track, or simply carry out tests on their machines. There will also be a MegaLAP Time Attack challenge where competitors will fight to set the fastest possible lap time in various categories.

To top it all off, the day will end with an evening BBQ session. For the spectators, entry via the grandstand will be completely free, while paddock passes will cost RM10.

      • Yeah, if u wanna see racing, i mean real mano-e-mano, no tech advantage or team orders bollocks, pure racing between the drivers, then u really shud come down and watch. Its very value for ur money, only RM 10.

Aiyo John. The target audience is different. And budget wise, probably the cost of one F1 tyre can get you a used Proton Saga, plus performance upgrades.

      • Meaning for the cost of that Saga with perf upgrades, I get a better race satisfaction than one whole F1 car? Okay…

  • Yes, why not? Buy an old Saga and put in a few upgrades, and off you go!
I only got to go as far as go kart races. The next step perhaps.
