The last time we heard from TuneD was when they teased a new styling pack for the Proton Saga FLX. Instead of launching that, the local tuning outfit went on to release a brand new styling pack for the previous-generation Proton Persona.
This kit comes with a wholly redesigned front and rear bumper, with the former sporting a long, diagonally-positioned LED daytime running lights in both edges of the bumper. The front grille is also new and takes on a black motif, highlighted by a thin strip of red with the TuneD badge.
On the side, it gets a skirting that extends into the lower extremities of the doors, giving it a more “flushed” look. The whole look is finished off by a brand new rear bumper with “air outlets” and an actual diffuser, complete with the company’s logo as well. The stock refractors however, seem unchanged.
Price-wise, the entire kit with paint (finished to match your car’s factory paint colour) is priced at RM3,320, but those who prefer to have it painted separately can choose to go with Option 2, which costs RM2,100. Do note that the wheels here aren’t part of the package, but more so for illustration purposes.

Comments express mixed opinions on the TuneD bodykit for the Proton Persona, with some praising its clean and sporty design and others criticizing the high price of RM2.1k, which exceeds the car's value. Many feel the upgrade is more suited for owners of well-maintained older models who want a refreshed look, rather than new buyers or those with limited budget. Several commenters think the Persona is outdated and question the practicality and regulation compliance of the kit, while others see it as a cost-effective way for existing owners to enhance their car's appearance. Overall, there's consensus that the kit is a late but somewhat positive attempt to revitalize an aging model, though it may not appeal to everyone due to cost and design considerations.
