Jaguar Land Rover @ paultan.org PACE – New Jaguar E-Pace, F-Type 2.0L, Range Rover Velar and more

There’s plenty of desirable premium metal on display at the first ever paultan.org Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE) 2018 in Setia City Convention Centre today, but few can beat the Jaguar F-Type and Range Rover Velar in sheer visual appeal. One’s a curvaceous sports car and another a big SUV, but both are striking.

It’s not everyday that one can spot a Velar or F-Type on the road, so if you want to check them out in the metal, head over to Jaguar Land Rover’s booth at PACE. Pretty as they are, the duo isn’t the main event here – the spotlight is on the new Jaguar E-Pace, which is making its first appearance in Malaysia ahead of a late Q1/early Q2 2019 launch.

The E-Pace is Jaguar’s most compact SUV, slotting below the F-Pace and rivalling the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. The Malaysian market will get a 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine with 249 PS and 365 Nm of torque. The Ingenium unit is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and AWD.

Standard features include LED headlamps, DRLs and tail lamps; dual-zone climate control; lane departure warning and lane keep assist; driver condition monitor; InControl Touch Pro with a 10-inch touchscreen and a reverse camera, among other kit. One can specify 20-inch alloys and Black Pack exterior trim.

Also on display at JLR’s booth is the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Jaguar F-Pace 2.0L AWD R-Sport.
