New Toyota 2S outlet opens in Taman Petaling Utama

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has launched a new 2S (service and spare parts) outlet in Taman Petaling Utama, which is operated by Laser Motor. The authorised Toyota dealer began about 16 years ago with a showroom in Bangsar, and expanded to Seremban later on.

The new facility is equipped with 14 work bays and is staffed by 13 technicians, while a waiting lounge equipped with free Wi-Fi provides customers comfortable place to wait while their vehicles are being worked on.

“We commend the Laser Motor Group on their initiative to enhance their facilities within the Toyota network in Malaysia. With more outlets in strategic locations, customers will not have to go far to acquire quality sales and aftersales services,” commented Ravindran Kurusamy, president of UMWT.

The Toyota 2S outlet managed by Laser Motor is located at No. 30E, Jalan PJS 1/46, PJS 1, Taman Petaling Utama, 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Operating hours are from 8am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Toyota UMW sales are dropping because Malaysians have found a cheaper way to own a Toyota, by buying the 2018 Perodua Myvi.

For RM50k, you are infact getting a RM90k Toyota Vios in disguise.

No wonder why Perodua has sold 150,000 Myvis since November 2018, joining the existing 1.1 million Myvis on the road. Toyota quality!

  • I remember that dealer. Totally lost the business and lost the plot (of land). Now got shafted to some obscure place. Whatmore is just a 2S, not even 3S. Nobody will come.
