Ever since a Silver Birch DB5 shot to international fame in Goldfinger in 1964, Aston Martin has been inextricably linked to the James Bond series of films. Now, with several of Gaydon’s cars due to star in the latest flick No Time to Die, the company is taking to the track at this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix while promoting the new movie, which premieres in cinemas at the end of the month.

At Monza, the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team will carry the iconic 007 logo on the sides of its AMR21 race cars and James Bond branding in its motorhome and pit garages. It will also release an ad shot by director Daniel Kleinman (who has directed the distinctive Bond title sequences since 1995’s GoldenEye), featuring music from famed Bond composer David Arnold.

The outfit’s digital channels will also feature an interview with the film’s director Cary Fukunaga, while its website will receive a No Time to Die-themed makeover over the weekend and feature a 007 fan quiz. On social media, team drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll will be shown racing each other to build a Lego version of the Goldfinger DB5.

The 25th film of the franchise, No Time to Die will make its world premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall on September 28, before it reaches cinemas in the United Kingdom on September 30 and October 8 in the United States. It will feature the aforementioned DB5, a DBS Superleggera and the forthcoming Valhalla (in concept form, as the film was shot before the car was redesigned for production).
