DBKL no longer accepting JomParking for payment in 2025 – six other apps retained for street parking lots

Those who work and play in KL, take note. DBKL has announced the discontinuation of the JomParking app as a payment method for public parking lots. This is effective January 1, 2025 in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.

The other six payment methods are still in place, and they are EZ KL Smart Park, Flexi Parking, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Boost, Mcash and Ekupon.

Note that the one’s credits in the JomParking app is still valid for parking in other areas governed by other local councils that still support the app.

Ever since DBKL switched to cashless payment for street parking in 2020, the JomParking app has been on and off the list – perhaps they don’t have the best of working relationships.

Why can’t standardize the usage of the public parking apps? So many freaking different apps for what?
