VIPS special number plate series released – stands for Visit Impressive Perlis State, April 11-15 on JPJ eBid

There’s a new special plate series in town – VIPS. That’s the acronym for Visit Impressive Perlis State.

The special plate series is being issued in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the reign of DYMM Tuanku Raja Perlis. This silver jubilee celebration also coincides with Tahun Melawat Perlis 2024-2025.

The VIPS series will be open for bidding on JPJ eBid tomorrow, April 11. The bidding period is five days, ending 10pm on April 15, which is next Tuesday. As usual, the results will be out the following day. The whole process is online now, as it has been for some time, and bidders will get the good (or bad) news via email.

Minimum bids for the top Nombor Utama category is RM20,000, while it’s RM5,000 for Nombor Premium, RM2,500 for Nombor Menarik and RM500 for Nombor Popular. Regular numbers start from RM300. Good luck, VIPs.

  • This doesn’t piss off the outgoing VIP plates. Why not launch a VVIP plate to bring VIP to a lower class?
