2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition in Malaysia – Elegance from RM181k, R-Line fr RM244k

The Volkswagen Arteon isn’t the only model in Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia’s (VPCM) line-up to get a Wolfsburg Edition, as the Tiguan Allspace also receives the same treatment to honour the German brand’s home city and will be at Malaysia Autoshow 2025 which opens its doors this week.

You get a choice of two variants when you order the Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition, namely the Elegance and R-Line 4Motion, both of which are being offered with special introductory pricing. The Elegance Wolfsburg Edition has a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM210,990 or RM211,590 if you add in on-the-road costs but exclude insurance.

With these figures, the Elegance Wolfsburg Edition is RM5,000 more than a regular Elegance, but with the introductory offer, the RRP is reduced by RM30,000 to RM180,990, or RM181,590 OTR without insurance.

As for the R-Line 4Motion Wolfsburg Edition, its RRP is RM263,990 or RM265,074 OTR without insurance. Again, these figures are RM5,000 up from a standard R-Line 4Motion, but the introductory offer drops the RRP by RM20,000 to RM243,990 or RM245,074 OTR without insurance.

Compared to regular variants of the Tiguan Allspace, the Wolfsburg Edition offerings are priced less. For context, the regular Elegance has a RRP of RM205,990 or RM206,590 OTR without insurance, while it is RM258,990 and RM260,074 respectively for the R-Line 4Motion.

As with the Arteon Wolfsburg Edition and even the Golf GTI Black Edition, the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) is improved for the Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition. Unchanged are the five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty and five-year roadside assistance, but the maintenance package has gone up to seven years or 105,000 km (whichever comes first) instead of five years/75,000 km.

In terms of improvements that come with the Wolfsburg Edition, they include a Wolfsburg crest emblem on the B-pillars, Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 (UTR2.0) front and rear dashcams, VW-branded tyre valve caps and an owners’ box that contains a Volkswagen keyholder, certificate of authenticity and Wolfsburg Edition floor mats.

Both variants also come with load edge protection (including for the front bumper), a polypropylene boot tray, smart holders and hooks that attach to the rear of the front seat headrests as well as aluminium sports pedals (Elegance only).

Beyond these changes, the rest of the spec sheet for both Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition models are identical to their standard counterparts. The Elegance is powered by a 1.4 litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine making 150 PS (148 hp or 110 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, with drive going to the front wheels via a six-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Meanwhile, the R-Line 4Motion features a more powerful 2.0 litre TSI mill with 220 PS (217 hp or 162 kW) and 350 Nm, which is paired to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch and 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
