Honda CR-V comes to Gran Turismo 7 – update 1.59 also adds Suzuki Carry, Ferrari 812, C5 Corvette Z06

Since its launch in March 2022, Gran Turismo 7 has received a series of updates that add new cars to the roster. In addition to exotics and performance models, these updates also introduce relatively “normal” vehicles such as the Toyota Alphard and Himedic ambulance.

If you’re a fan of a latter, good news. On May 14, 2025, Polyphony Digital, the company behind the Gran Turismo series, released update 1.59 that includes the fifth-generation Honda CR-V. To be specific, it is the e:HEV EX hybrid variant of the SUV in Black Edition trim that was released for the 2021 model year.

Another pedestrian vehicle that is part of this update is the Suzuki Carry, a kei-sized pick-up truck that has remained in its 11th generation since 2013. With tunes, engine swaps and other modifications, both vehicles are likely to be a lot of fun on track.

Oh, the Ferrari 812 Superfast and fifth-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 are here too.

Aside from the new cars, more events have been added to the pool, including the Lightweight K-Cup that takes place at Eiger Nordwand, the American Clubman Cup 700 at Autodromo de Interlagos as well as the Ferrari Circuit Challenge at Deep Forest Raceway.

More Gran Turismo Sophy-compatible tracks will also be added if you want more options to challenge the game’s racing AI agent, while ‘shooting the perfect square’ will be added as a featured Curation in Scapes.
