Perodua is having a June 2025 promo for the Ativa and Aruz from now till June 30. The compact turbocharged SUV can be yours with RM1,000 cash rebate, while the high-riding seven-seater MPV is being offered with a RM4,000 discount, which is RM500 more than April’s Raya offer.
Launched in March 2021, the Ativa is still the only Perodua with a turbocharged engine. The A-segment SUV – the first P2 to ride on the DNGA platform – is powered by a 1.0-litre downsized turbo triple with 98 PS and 140 Nm of torque from 2,400 to 4,000 rpm. It’s paired to the D-CVT gearbox that’s now a mainstay for the market leader. The Ativa is priced from RM62,500 for the base X to RM73,400 for the top AV with the black roof option.
Introduced in early 2019, the Aruz is seven-seat MPV with SUV styling and ground clearance that’s higher than most SUVs (220 mm). This is the Aruz’s biggest differentiator from P2’s other seven-seater, the Alza – that one is car-like and rides 60 mm lower. For those who want tall car visibility and peace of mind from minor flooding, the Aruz would be a good tool.
The powertrain consists of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine with 102 PS/133 Nm, and a four-speed torque converter automatic sending drive to the rear axle. Passion Red joined the colour range in late 2021.
Aside from going to the showroom, you can also try Perodua Online Booking. If you have a car to trade-in, you can do so with Perodua’s POV used car division.

Buying the ARUZ
The suspension of the Aruz is the main issue why the Aruz cannot sell.
Why the Perodua engineers so clueless? It is as ‘bouncy’as the old generation Avanza.
10 out of 10 of buyers complain about the suspension.
Do u need Iranian rocket science to upgrade the Aruz?
Anyway, this model cant sell..the others r selling like hot cakes. So,why bother to update and upgrade ?
Because perodua probably want to get rid of the so-called a failure, aruz off the lots. Perodua never seems to care to talk about aruz at all recently. They might even use the aruz nameplate for the yaris-cross based suv or
I doubt that P2 is clueless, this isn’t Proton where the company no head no tail until Geely comes along lol. The Aruz being an Avanza replacement is a workhorse, so the springs have to be stiffer to cater for any instances of heavy lifting, thus making it bouncier when no loads in the rear. However, when it comes to full load, the Aruz probably has no match in it’s category besides the famed Hailak (diesel). Take note the GB and engine is probably tuned for high revs, which is the ideal combo for :
1. People moving
2. Cargo carrying
3. Mountain climbing
4. Light flood wading
UMW and Perodua do this kind of Promo is just get rid of the old stocks
From what i knew, perodua had a hard time moving their Ativa and Aruz. The main reason are because these car are in the same pies as an alza.
Clearing stock since these P2 cars cannot sell vs P1.
