The cat is finally out of the bag. Perodua has launched its first ever SUV, the Aruz, with prices starting from RM72,900 for the entry-level X variant to RM77,900 for the top-spec AV. Both models are rated five stars in the ASEAN NCAP crash safety test, and each purchase comes with a five-year or 150,000 km warranty package.
The X and AV models are mechanically identical, with motive power coming from a 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated 2NR-VE Dual VVT-i engine. The obvious difference here is their respective equipment list, and to make the buying decision easier for you, we’ve prepared a complete spec-by-spec list to detail the differences. Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Perodua now getting busy yo…
What’s going on with the second interior picture. Colour grading looks really poor when viewed in this post but when i open in new tab, image looks ok.
Everybody is asking, why buy a China made car that has been rejected by all First World countries officially when you can buy a Top Japanese car for RM72k?
Why waste RM123k when you can get a top car for rM72k? You buta buta save RM50k just like that
holy smoke! this aruz gonna tapao mid range price sales. you want a safer car, buy aruz. you want a family car, buy aruz. you want a fair priced rush, buy aruz. aruz tapao x50 while x50 still in its infancy.
X50? Since when X50 is exist?
Dude, x70 is SUV. You’re comparing apples to cucumber, both are food but entirely different genres. Perodua Aruz has the width/length of Grand Livina, the height of an Innova, frankly it stucks like an odd design. Nonetheless, let’s keep not jump into conclusion that it’s an utter design before things become crystal clear, especially don’t make those silly tapao comment, when “everything still in its infancy”, right?
i am refering that proton code name x50, that yet to be launched geely sx11, you are the one who is comparing x70 to aruz not me. read up more on x50 and aruz dude.
keep dreaming….zzz
Wow! very nice design & look high quality material.
X60?… mehh..
syok sendiri kaa?
Old engine previously used in Advanza and Myvi.. Seek uncle Google help on 2NR – VE Dual vvti.. Lower HP and Torque compared to Vios..
Advanza remake! Most affordable FR car.
harga terlalu mahal….injin1.5 dalam kurang kemas…..bentuk body ok menarik……klu harga rm60ribu ke atas oklh….kalau harga rm60ribu ke atas ramai pembeli
atas rm60 ribu lh tu…
100hp engine to carry 7 people with that big body. Lol.
Torque 136Nm can’t pull 1.7 tonne+ vehicle
Sales will be like nautica. Nautica 4wd even more useful.
Positioning of front signalling lamp is poor making the frontal view looks hideous. Still some people find the car looks gorgeous.
First? Where did kembara go?
why the rear so ugly……….i prefer X70
Honda BRV SOHC manage to out Toyota engine DOHC. Single cam defeat Double Cam in term of HP and torque. Wow wow wow…
Looks like an MPV rather than SUV… 1.5 litre for 6 people and luggage.. boleh tahan ke?
