The Aruz carries on into 2026 with the same two-variant passenger-car range: 1.5 X and 1.5 AV. Its latest production update remains the 2025 change to a matte black grille, revised interior trim and alloys, with Vintage Brown replacing Electric Blue. In 2026, showroom activity centres on cash promotions, including RM3,500 and RM4,000 discounts, plus the Aruz Space concept, a KLIMS 2026 show car built to carry goods instead of passengers.

The Aruz has a very clear job in Perodua’s SUV line-up: seven seats. It sits above the compact Ativa and alongside the newer Traz in buyer consideration, but it has been around since 2019. It also costs more than the Ativa, which starts at RM62,500, while the Traz starts in the same neighbourhood at RM76,100. Buy it for the seating layout, not novelty.
