On the published mechanical figures, the S is the rational default: every WR-V gets the same 1,498 cc, 121 hp petrol engine, FWD, CVT and five seats. The E costs RM95,900, V RM99,900 and RS RM107,900, against RM89,900 for the S. That leaves RM6,000, RM10,000 and RM18,000 gaps from S, respectively. Pay more only if the specific trim equipment matters to you; there is no published mechanical upgrade.
