Malaysian fuel prices December 11-17, 2025 – down 2 sen; RON95 RM2.64, RON97 RM3.27, diesel RM3.06

It is Wednesday, which means that the time has come once again for the ministry of finance to announce the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of December 11 to 17, 2025.

The coming week will see a two sen per litre drop in price for RON 95 petrol, RON 97 petrol and diesel fuels. This means that unsubsidised RON 95 petrol will be priced at RM2.64 per litre, down from its RM2.66 per litre rate of last week, while RON 97 petrol will be RM3.27 per litre in the coming week.

RON 95 petrol, under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) scheme continues unchanged at RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driving licence and who are eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) programme continue to get to purchase RON 95 petrol at the subsidised rate of RM1.99 per litre, at a monthly quota of 300 litres.

Diesel fuels of the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends will be priced at RM3.06 per litre in the coming week, which means that pricing for the Euro 5 B7 blend, at 20 sen more per litre, will be priced at RM3.26 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan stays unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, December 17, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates are announced. This is the 50th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 361st in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
