The Kelantan road transport department (JPJ) recently seized a BMW 320i suspected of displaying a fake road tax sticker that stated an August 2026 expiry instead of the actual July 2025, Bernama reports.

Kelantan JPJ director Mohd Misuari Abdullah said the car was seized under Section 108 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for allegedly displaying a forged document, and that the 20-year old driver, who did not have a valid driving licence, told authorities he’d bought the car online. Further checks revealed that the car had five outstanding speeding tickets.
Ops Hari Raya Aidiladha, during which the BMW was caught, saw Kelantan JPJ inspect 400 vehicles statewide and take action against 230. It issued 256 saman, 10 vehicle use prohibition notices, 10 vehicle detection notices and three inspection order notices.
Seven cars and three motorbikes were detained; found to have committed various offences under the Road Transport Act 1987. Mohd Misuari said the most common offences were driving without a competent driving licence (CDL, 103 cases), having no insurance (56 cases) and expired road tax.

From the looks of it, everytime we see a luxury car on the road, it’s safe to assume that 90% of the time it has no road tax, no insurance, and the license plate is either a law-breaking fancy plate or a false plate altogether. So much for being “status symbols”. These cars have become nothing more than scammer symbols. so it is safe to assume that the T20 are lawbreaking crimimal scum , remind me again why they should be entitled to subsidies?
Its a shame,fanciful luxury cars have no road tax.

The genuine T20 have no problems with insurance, driving license and
road tax. It’s the fake wanna be types who seek status that are the problem.

Haish….BMW 320 je pun x mampu renew insurance n road tax. Pajero buruk aku idup je tiap2 tahun. Biar buruk tapi mampu melepasi road block dgn senyuman dan ketenangan jiwa.

First for most. Kudos and job well done to our JPJ team. It was a good news. Banyak yg ada kereta mewah terutama kereta sport atas jalan sekarang belum tentu dapat renew roadtax lepas setahun pakai atau beli. Terutama budak budak muda. Mana dapat duit..? Forex atau cuci duit.
