Overview
The iCaur 03 is a five-seat C-segment electric SUV for buyers who want a boxy EV with SUV stance rather than a low-slung hatchback. In Malaysia it costs from RM119,800 for the 2WD, which gets a 65.69 kWh battery, 355 km of claimed range and a single-ratio automatic.
For 2026, the iCaur 03 continues as a first-generation model launched in Malaysia in 2025, with the key local update being CKD assembly. The CKD car keeps the same specs as the earlier CBU version, with the range still centred on 2WD and iWD forms. The iWD CKD launch highlights 279 PS and up to 418 km NEDC; the 03T range-extender is not part of the current 03 EV range.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should pick the 2WD at RM119,800. It has the lower price, the longer 355 km claimed range and the same five-seat layout as the iWD. The RM10,000 gap to the RM129,800 iWD buys a larger 69.77 kWh battery and 275 hp instead of 181 hp, but range falls to 342 km. Pay more only if the extra motor output matters more than range and price; both use a single-ratio automatic.

across the range — availability varies by variant
The iCaur 03’s pitch is simple: C-segment EV SUV size, five seats and a choice between longer claimed range or more power. It is not the bargain end of the electric SUV market; the Perodua QV-E, Seres 3 and BYD Atto 2 all start lower. The 2WD makes the cleaner case, because it costs less and has the longer 355 km range. The iWD is for buyers who want 275 hp.
same class, similar money
The iCaur 03 is priced from RM119,800 for the 2WD to RM129,800 for the iWD in Malaysia.
Buy the 2WD if range and price matter most. Choose the iWD only if you want the stronger 275 hp motor output and accept its shorter 342 km claimed range.
The iCaur 03 2WD is rated at 355 km, while the iWD is rated at 342 km. The iWD has the larger 69.77 kWh battery and higher motor output.
It starts higher than the Perodua QV-E, Seres 3 and BYD Atto 2. Its entry price matches the Aion Y Plus and iCaur V23, and sits just below the Neta X.
