For 2026, a revised Almera has surfaced with a new face, new tail, split headlamps, the same side profile and possible extra ADAS features. The Almera is Nissan Malaysia’s small sedan play after years of an ageing local line-up, and the N18 gives the brand a newer B-segment entry. Its fuel-efficiency angle is part of the pitch: a Lightfoot Quest winner managed 28.61 km/l from PJ to Ipoh, though that is challenge driving. Pricing is the harder part, because the range runs above the Proton Persona and the top variant also exceeds the listed Vios and MG 5 entry prices.
